The vision for the Student Conference 2012 is simple...

Changed Lives + Changed Church = Changed Nation

Changed Lives - We want to gather 200+ students in the centre of Sheffield, where we will worship God and be inspired by the Bible. The aim is not for this to be a one-off event but for this conference to radically change your life so that you might know Jesus' love for you even more and then to share that love to your wider community/networks.

Changed Church - God loves the church but so often the church has forgotten it's purpose in God's plans. Acts 2 talks about a community of Jesus followers, how they shared everything, and opened up their lives to the lost and the broken. Our prayer is that as a church, as a community we will not just read about it but live it out in our daily lives.

Changed Nation - We need to face the facts...this world is desperate to hear and know Jesus. The only way that this will happen is if we (the church) open ourselves up, step out in faith and demonstrate His love through words and actions. We pray that this conference will be the cataylist for change...changed lives + changed church = changed nation

St Paul's Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in the heart of Sheffield City centre. We are so excited to be having our conference based at this fantastic venue. We will not only be worshiping and hearing God's word in their incredible conference suit but we will also sample their 4star breakfast and buffet lunch! Also...great news...everyone will have a comfy chair or sofa to sit on during our times together!

St Thomas Crookes, Sheffield

St Thomas Crookes is one of the fastest growing churches in Europe. Over the years it has pioneered new ways of being church. It has also witness hundreds of people come to faith through mid-sized communities (clusters) and through the Alpha Course. It is home to Churchforstudents, one of the largest student church in the UK. So therefore, it has to be the venue to host the Grand Opening and first teaching session of the Student Conference 2012.
